Our watercolour painting of Fleetwood Upper Lighthouse pictures it stood proud on Pharos Street, in the historic heart of the town. Find it right next to the tram lines and Victorian tram stop, near to the Euston Gardens, the Esplanade and not far from the Museum.
Did you know that the northwest seaside town of Fleetwood is unique in that it has three lighthouses?
You’d have to be sharp eyed to spot the near derelict remains of the Wyre Light, out in the channel of the River Wyre. But you’d be hard pressed to miss the other two.
There’s the beautiful Lower Lighthouse on The Esplanade and this one, the Upper or Pharos Lighthouse. When lined up, the Lower and Upper Lighthouses guide ships safely through the dangers of the Wyre channel, into port.
Prints from our original paintings, drawings and designs make perfect presents for anyone who loves the Fylde Coast. Seaside gifts for Christmas, birthdays and just because. Why not show someone that you care?
The original watercolour painting is drawn by hand right here on the Fylde Coast by our artist, Derek Littlewood.
