Fleetwood is a beautiful seaside town, full of attractive, historic architecture, much of which dates back to the days when Sir Peter Hesketh Fleetwood laid out the town.
The Mount was the high point where Sir Peter stood with architect Decimus Burton to lay out the radial pattern of streets - and still today The Mount and the Pavilion which stands atop it are favourites landmarks for local people and visitors alike. You can read more about The Mount and Pavilion here.
This is a print from our original watercolour, painted here on the Fylde Coast by our artist Derek Littlewood.
There are two views of The Mount - this one is a softer, more traditional watercolour version, while The Mount - View 2 is also painted in watercolour but includes more of the details of the building.
It’s printed in full colour on a thick, high quality photo paper, mounted and framed in your choice of frame colour.
It’s a lovely reminder of Fleetwood and the seaside – until next time that you visit.
Of course these original drawings from the Seaside Emporium would make perfect presents for anyone who loves the Fylde Coast or indeed the seaside in general, and ideal Christmas gifts too.
